Cancellation Policy

Missed Appointments or Late Cancellations

We understand that situations arise in which clients must cancel their appointments. Our goal is to provide quality care in a timely manner and in order to do so, we implement a session cancellation policy. This policy enables us to better utilize available appointments for our clients in need of mental health services.

Appointments must be cancelled at least two (2) business days prior to the scheduled appointment time. Clients can cancel their appointment by calling the main phone number to the center for psychiatric providers or emailing their specific therapist prior to the two (2) business day cutoff. There is a $100 charge for no-show and late cancellation of therapy and psychiatry appointments. There is a $300 charge for no-show and late cancellation of testing services. If you have a card on file, payment will be collected by the appropriate staff member. If you do not have a card on file, you will receive a bill.

**Announcement**
On April 23rd, our current electronic health system will transition to a new and advanced system to better serve you: Athena. Prior to the transition date, you will be sent a registration link to create a new patient account in Athena. If you have any immediate questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact your therapist, or call our office to speak to a staff member.
